A very special thank you to our friends at Arvest Bank. We are so excited to announce that we received funds to supplement the purchase of books for our teachers to use in guided reading. Additionally, we will put some of the funds to work by putting books in the homes of the kids in our community. Thank you, Ms. Teri Hunter for writing the grant to help secure these funds. #PateIsThePlaceToBe

As part of our Leader In Me journey, we have been teaching the students the 7 Habits. This week's habit of the week is Habit 1: Be Proactive. Ask your child how they were proactive at home and at school. I asked a few students that same question today. Watch for their responses and pictures. #LeaderInMe #PateIsThePlaceToBe
