“I am incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve as Aurora R8’s Health Services Coordinator,” Gaston said. “In this new role, I look forward to organizing and streamlining our health services while continuing to support the health, safety, and well-being of our students and staff across the district.”

Gaston is a registered nurse with seven years of nursing experience, including six years of service in the district. She assumed the extra duty last year after the previous Health Services Coordinator resigned; as the coordinator, one of her primary roles is to provide leadership/support to the other nurses throughout the district. Her experience and dedication will help provide consistent and effective health services throughout Aurora R8 for students, staff, and other stakeholders.
