First Day of School: Monday, August 24, 2026 Last Day of School: Thursday, May 27, 2027 (12:30 dismissal) Thanksgiving Break: November 25–26, 2026 Winter Break: December 21, 2026 – January 3, 2027 Half Days / Early Release: • December 17, 2026 – End of 2nd Quarter (12:30 dismissal) • May 27, 2027 – Last Day of School (12:30 dismissal) Quarter Dates: • 1st Quarter Ends – October 15, 2026 • 2nd Quarter Ends – December 17, 2026 • 3rd Quarter Ends – March 18, 2027 • 4th Quarter Ends – May 27, 2027 Summer School: • First Day – June 1, 2027 • Last Day – July 1, 2027 Important Note About Makeup Days: Makeup days will be used after 5 AMI Days. March 2026 ALC Newsletter Hot News I am excited to report that the ALC has been awarded not one, but two grants from Community Foundation of the Ozarks. The first will be used for Child Development resources in our FACS class, the second will be to support Project Ignite: Reading and Writing. Upcoming Events The ALC will be holding our next family night on Tuesday March 17th at 5pm. ALC students and families are invited to join us for a meal and conversations about the progress of our students and to celebrate their successes. Class Spotlight World History In Mr. Ortman’s World History class, students just finished "The Rise of Six World Powers" and how late 1800s reformers got improvements for their society. Our next section will cover World War 1 and its impact on multiple societies, during and after the war. FACS This month students in Mrs. Pope’s FACS class are beginning a unit on Adulting 101.
